My friends Taylor and Kasey share the story of Taylor (active LDS) starting to date Kasey (not active LDS at the time) and their 5-year courtship, including an 8-month separation. It’s a story about falling in love and having a great foundation but a difference in religious beliefs. At times Taylor was encouraged to end the relationship because of their religious differences. Taylor and Kasey share how Kasey gradually (after asking for a blessing) found his spiritual home in the LDS Church and they were married in the Salt Lake Temple in 2017. This is a helpful podcast for those who stories don’t fit the ‘culture norm’ of traditional LDS stories.
